Michie Mee is Canada’s first notable female MC and considered a national hip-hop pioneer. She started at young the age of 14 working with KRS-One and was first Canadian emcee to sign a record deal with a major American label - First Priority/Atlantic Records. Throughout the years she has released Juno nominated albums, singles, and has a dived into acting in TV & Film. In 2011, Michie Mee is back with her new release “I Am Legend”, a reggae-tinged, high-energy single that symbolizes her stellar career.

Dream Warriors debut album “And Now the Legacy Begins” was released in 1991 and two singles that hit the Top 20 in the UK, while in Canada, the album went GOLD and the duo earned a Juno Award for “My Definition of a Boombastic Jazz Style”. The song featured a sample of “Soul Bossa Nova” by Quincy Jones, which was the theme song for the Canadian game show Definition. In 2011, Dream Warriors will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of their debut CD. Here is two new remixes of their hit song “”My Definition of a Boombastic Jazz Style”.

Here is the brand new single from Dru’s 2nd solo album due out spring 2012 called “Getting It In”. This song was written in LA and produced by Greg Ogan of the Writing Camp (Beyonce, Rihanna, Brandy). Dru’s new album follows his international hit single “Runnin” by Doman & Gooding. The video for “Getting It In” was shot in Barbados and will be serviced to MuchMusic late July.
